Reflecting on 2024 and Looking Ahead to 2025
As the year comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to celebrate an incredible 2024 for the Malden Chamber of Commerce. Thanks to the dedication and energy of our members, we’ve achieved so much together, and we’re excited for what lies ahead in 2025!
This year, we welcomed over 70 new members, including 48 who joined through the ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) grant, strengthening our business community like never before. Our calendar was packed with opportunities to connect and grow, including over 10 Business After Hours events and several Lunch and Learn sessions designed to support and educate our members.
We brought joy to the community with our Trick or Treat event, which saw more than 500 kids enjoying the festivities. Our Year of Dining was a huge success and we were able to offer and 2nd and 3rd prize this year. We also hosted a vibrant Comedy Night, partnered with The Gallery@57 for Artists & Auctions, and led an inspiring ARPA Speaker Series with four expert speakers.
Our Annual Legislative Breakfast with Senator Lewis and the state delegation provided members with critical updates and insights. Additionally, the Business Resource Fair connected members with key state agencies, offering invaluable tools and support.
As we look ahead to 2025, we’re excited to build on this momentum. From new initiatives to expanded opportunities for networking and growth, the Chamber is committed to continuing our mission to support Malden’s thriving business community.
Thank you to everyone who made this year so successful. We can’t wait to work with you to make 2025 even better! As always, please contact me with any suggestions! I can be reached at marianne@maldenchamber.org or 781-322-4500.
