Sassy Seniors Cooking Club |

Join Chef Melissa Sherwood of Deliciously Nutritious for the
SASSY SENIORS COOKING CLUB.
SASSY SENIORS will meet once a month, for hands-on cooking lessons, nutrition counseling, recipe swapping, and good old-fashioned conversation, friendship, and fun! Participants will carry home a yummy edible gift each month to share with their loved ones.

What could be more fun than an old-fashioned holiday cookie swap? In this fun-filled class, we will channel our inner elves and create a variety of cookie doughs for the holidays. Each participant will carry home new cookie recipes and cookie doughs to bake and share with the ones they love. Bring your favorite apron and get ready to laugh, share stories, and drink homemade hot cocoa like the elves do.

This year's party will be held at Beefalo Bob's Reflections Catering Hall located at 8015 Ft. Smallwood Road, on Thursday, December 19, from 12 pm until 3 pm.
This event is sponsored by DENA SI. Tickets are $30 and must be purchased in advance. Tickets went on sale Tuesday, November 12, and will be available at the front desk, while supplies last.
Catering will be provided by Beefalo Bob's and includes Pit beef, turkey & ham, shredded beef BBQ, pasta salad, garden salad with a variety of dressings, parsley red potatoes, green beans, sodas & iced tea, and dessert.
Entertainment provided by George Garris & Friends.

Anne Arundel Community College is currently looking for instructors.
This part-time position teaches college managed, non-credit Community Education courses that focus on personal interests such as arts, history, politics, humanities and culture, computers, health and wellness, hobbies and craft topics. Instruction is provided to students who are 60 plus.
Pay rates for non-credit courses in Continuing Education are commensurate with education and experience qualifications.
Instructors should have teaching experience and an expert knowledge of the topic they are proposing to teach. Instructors will be required to complete all forms and documentation related to the course and all documentation required by the college.

Open Monday through Friday, 8:30 am until 4 pm.
The Pasadena Senior Activity Center offers free membership to individuals 55 and over who are active, self-sufficient, and able to function independently. For more information, visit us in person or call 410-222-0030 for additional information about classes and activities.
The Trip Desk is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 am until 1 pm. Trip Desk phone: 410-222-0680.
Meals are served at the Center, Monday-Friday at noon. Reservations must be made two weeks in advance, in person. Cancellations are required by 10:00 AM the day before the meal is served, and must be called in at (410) 222-6223 between the hours of 9:00 am-1:00 pm. In an effort to support the ongoing and future work of the Congregate Meal Program, voluntary donations are encouraged. No eligible person will be denied a meal if unable to donate. Each congregate meal costs $5.25.
