Dear friends,
As another year draws to a close, I hope you are taking the opportunity to reflect on your journey and celebrate the remarkable achievements of 2024! The AFP Fort Worth Metro Chapter has thrived, thanks to the unwavering dedication of all our members and leaders.
Our 2024 Chapter Board of Directors worked incredibly hard to provide dynamic programming and networking through our monthly chapter sessions, the DFW Philanthropy in Action Conference, ethics chats, peer learning, and more. The National Philanthropy Day Luncheon, led by Olivia Barhorst and Emily Nance and executed by a very dedicated committee, was such an impactful way to celebrate the philanthropy rockstars in our community.
We were delighted to see new members join us and familiar faces return, strengthening our fundraising community! The UTA Collegiate Chapter launched under the guidance of our president-elect, Trey Harper, and we’re excited to continue to grow our mutually beneficial relationship in the future.
Our chapter is blessed with the commitment of both James Nicholson, chapter administrator, and Lyn Downing, chapter director, who will continue to guide (and manage) us into the new year!
I have been blessed to work with each of our chapter leaders this year and I thank you all for your dedicated service to AFP and our community of fundraising professionals. Looking to the future, I am excited to introduce the 2025 Board of Directors:
