Greetings Parents and Families of Steubenville
High School,
As we enter the holiday season and the final
month of the first semester, I’m reminded of what makes Steubenville High School such a special place. December always brings a mix of excitement, reflection, and anticipation—and our students continue to show the grit, kindness, and school pride that define Big Red.
This month gives us an opportunity to celebrate the academic progress our students have made, the accomplishments of our athletes and performers, and the commitment our staff brings to the classroom every day. I want to thank our families for the support you provide at home—your encouragement is a major force behind our students’ success.
As we prepare for midterms and end-of-semester activities, I encourage all students to finish strong. Take advantage of all opportunities in front of you, ask questions, stay organized, and push yourself to close out the year with purpose and commitment. Your effort now sets the tone for the new year ahead.
We also look forward to our many December traditions and events—concerts, seasonal events, service projects, and moments that remind us what it means to be part of a supportive and caring community. I’m proud of the way our students consistently step up to help others and represent Steubenville with character, dignity and our hallmark Big Red Pride.
As we approach winter break, I wish every Big Red family a safe, restful, and joyful holiday season. May the coming weeks bring time with loved ones, renewed energy, and plenty of reasons to celebrate.
Thank you for your continued trust and partnership. Let’s close out 2025 with the same spirit and determination that makes Steubenville High School a place where students thrive.
Happy Holidays, Happy New Year and Roll Red!
