DECEMBER 2025 E-NEWSLETTER

HELP US FINISH THE YEAR STRONG:

BE A FRIEND FOR HOPE TODAY

With just days left in the year, families across the Holy Land continue to face immense challenges: scarce resources, ongoing instability, and dwindling access to care. But thanks to the support of the AFEDJ community, there is also hope.

Together, we have raised $800,000 as part of our Friend for Hope year-end campaign, but we still have work ahead to hit our goal of $1M before the end of the year. This surge of giving is strengthening the Diocese of Jerusalem’s schools, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers so families across the region can continue to access steady and reliable support.

Closing the remaining gap by December 31 is within reach. There is still time to make a meaningful difference this year and help bring this effort over the finish line.

As a special thank you, anyone who makes a gift of any amount before December 31 will be invited to an exclusive February webinar with Archbishop Hosam Naoum.

Thank you to everyone who has already given so generously. You are helping essential institutions stay open and responsive during an extraordinarily difficult season.

A LETTER FROM THE ARCHBISHOP

We invite you to download this printable letter from The Most Reverend Dr. Hosam E. Naoum, Archbishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem, to share with your community this season. His message is a powerful reminder of why this work matters now more than ever.

As we enter the final days of the year, stand with us and with the communities we serve, bringing hope where it is needed most. Be a friend for hope today.
