Finishing 2025: I’m better now!
A board member ended our meeting with heartfelt words that I imagine we all want to hear from every volunteer: “I’m better now–after prayers, visioning, and working our values into action for the region.”
It is spiritually inspiring to serve with upwards of 90 ministries and thousands of Unitics for the purpose of “Awakening Oneness”. We do “empower an evolving consciousness that spiritually transforms the world.”, one person at a time. In the context of so much in our country and world that defies logic and spiritual understanding, may we continually serve and work together so that each in our midst says, “I’m better now.”
Holiday greetings and blessings to all! We are planning our next regional LUT conference call on Sunday, Dec. 14, at 7:30 pm EDT, 6:30 pm CDT.
Please join in as we renew our friendships, pass along tips for holiday community celebrations, and plan for activities in the coming year.
One important plan in the works is a new/renewed directory of LUTs in the region, providing a resource for those who need information/assistance. Interested in participating in this important work? Please join the call to discuss, or let me know of your interest.
Thanks so much for being a part of the Great Lakes Region! Blessings!
As the days grow darker let us see the light within us shining even brighter as we affirm the call that moves us forward in hope, peace, love, and joy. As the tasks become more numbered let us discern the simpler way to relax into the activities of the day. As we attune to times of celebration let us be mindful of the pain that lurks all around us. Let us always say yes to our Christ nature leading our way to uplift others in kindness and compassion as we share in unity. Thank you, God! And so it is!

She was looking to find a new life. We sang on the bus returning from the Grand Canyon and by the time we returned home, we had plans for her to join the Unity choir, which she did. There she met other young women and joined a MasterMind group that lasted 25 years! She surrounded herself with young people, saying people her age just wanted to talk about their health and that was too boring. Instead of a church service, we did a ...Continue Reading
