Traveling Outside the United States?

All F-1 students must obtain a valid Travel Authorization Signature on their Form I-20 before leaving the country. Signatures are required for re-entry and are valid for 12 months. Please submit a Travel Authorization Request Form as soon as possible.

SRJC District Closure

Winter Break is almost here! There will be no classes from December 20 to January 11, and the District will be fully closed from December 25 to January 4. If you need help with travel authorization, payments/holds, registering for classes, etc. please contact us before offices close so we can support you. Spring 2026 classes begin January 12.

Counseling Availability

ISP Counselors will have limited availability during break:

Chris Grant: Jan 5 (9–5), Jan 6 (9–5), Jan 7 (10–7), Jan 8 (9–5), and Sat Jan 10 (9–3)—on sabbatical Spring 2026
Amanda Mansfield: Jan 5 (8–5), Jan 7 (8:30–2:30), and Jan 8 (8:30–2:30)

Please submit this form ASAP to request an appointment if you still need support with Spring registration.

2025/26 Doyle Scholarship Awards

Fall 2025 Doyle Scholarships disbursement has begun! Spring 2026 awards will disburse in early February. Be sure to accept your award and set up your refund preference in your Financial Aid Portal. Scholarship funds will first pay any outstanding SRJC fees, and any remaining amount will be sent to you through BankMobile or via check. Contact the scholarship office if you have any questions.

Rotary Scholarships Up to $5,000

The Rotary Club of Santa Rosa Foundation is offering scholarships up to $5,000, and international students are encouraged to apply. Applications are open now through March 1, 2026. Learn more at santarosarotary.com/scholarships.

Meet Garima!

Hello, Namaste. I’m Garima, an international student from Punjab, India. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Media and worked back home as a copywriter creating content for radio media. I’m currently in my fifth semester at SRJC, pursuing real estate to get closer to my dream of studying abroad. I consider myself social and happy, and I love meeting new people and exploring new places. Some of my favorite experiences so far include participating in ISP activities, making friends from different cultures, and working on campus, which have all made my journey exciting and memorable. My country is like a colorful tapestry of festivals, traditions, and warm hospitality, which has shaped who I am today. I’m grateful for the supportive SRJC community, which is helping me build myself for a successful future.
