NAID CERTIFICATION PROGRAM UPDATE

On May 20, 2025, i-Sigma published an update to its certification program, which applies to NAID AAA Certification and PRISM Privacy+ Certification.

The i-SIGMA Board of Directors approved an update to the i-SIGMA Certification Specification Manual to address specific changes to the manual in the following areas:

1) Section 1.4

2) Terms and conditions #16

3) Terms and conditions citing CRB

4) Section 4.5 and related Glossary entry

R2 AUDIT TIP:

Focus Material Management Plan

Ensure your Focus Material Management Plan is updated. Make sure your Downstream Vendor flow chart has monthly processing and storage capacity for focus materials to the next R2v3 Vendor or to end of life. For example, if you are sending LCDs, ensure your downstream vendor provides you with their monthly capacity to store and process LCDs. There are new requirements due to the changes in the Code of Practices effective February 18, 2025. An updated FM Plan was made available this year. Make sure you received your copy before your audit. Contact Katherine if you didn’t receive a new FM Plan from us in 2025.
