News & Updates

Welcome Home Volunteers at our 2025 annual holiday appreciation luncheon.

Welcome Home Friends and Supporters,

In 2025, Welcome Home helped more than 13,000 people turn housing into homes. Day after day, individuals and families come to us for essential bedding and kitchen supplies, along with the personal touches of home décor that allow people to truly settle in and feel a sense of belonging.

We also work closely with partner organizations to meet larger, community-wide needs. When Family Aid opened in Newton earlier this year, Welcome Home stepped in to equip their shared kitchen with foundational items such as pots, pans, and cooking utensils, along with bath mats for resident bathrooms. Our support continues as needs arise, and most recently we added baking supplies, additional pans, and food storage to ensure Family Aid residents have what they need to nourish themselves and one another.

We are able to do this work through the generosity of local business partners and the financial contributions of donors who believe in our mission. Our sincere thanks to the Official Mover of Welcome Home, Mark’s Moving and Storage, and to everyone who has already given to our Annual Fundraiser. It is never too late to make a difference—just click here to contribute. Our work truly matters, and we are deeply grateful to do it alongside you.

Wishing you and yours an enjoyable and meaningful holiday season.

Warmly,

Julie Plaut Mahoney and Mindy Peckler, co-founders

and The Welcome Home Team
