As 2025 comes to an end and I write my last letter of 2025, I would like to thank everyone who has supported the Lisle Area Chamber throughout the year. I would also like to thank the Chamber staff, Jill and Claudine, for all of their hard work throughout the year for our members and keeping the office and events running smoothly. We are lucky to have a hardworking and dedicated staff.
Thank you to our Board of Directors for their hard work through out the year. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with this group of dedicated professionals who guide the Chamber throughout the year. I look forward to continuing to serve as the Board Chairman again this year. I also look forward to working with our newest Board members joining our Board in 2026. Each Board member brings their own unique perspective and qualifications to our Chamber.
Thank you to our Committee Chairs who have worked tirelessly to help plan our events and meetings. We owe each Chair a big “Thank You” for all of their hard work, time and effort they put into running their committees.
I would also like to thank all of the volunteers that have donated their time to the Chamber this year. We could not hold so many great events if it were not for our volunteers. Their dedication to the Chamber helps us plan so many great events and support our community.
I am looking forward to serving again as the 2026 Board Chair and hope to see everyone at events, meetings and throughout this wonderful community. I hope to see everyone at our Annual Meeting & Holiday Luncheon on December 4th. There is still an opportunity to register online or contact the Chamber if you would like to attend.

The Chamber's Annual Turkey Trot Tune-Up 5K took place on Sunday, November 16, 2025 through the beautiful Lisle Community Park. Runners and walkers made their way through the winding pathways of the Lisle Community Park course. Thank you to Dan Garvy and Jon Pratscher from the Lisle Park District for everything they did to help the Chamber make this event a success.

MULTI-CHAMBER BUSINESS AFTER HOURS

On Tuesday, November 4, 2025 BankFinancial held a Multi-Chamber Business After Hours with the Lisle Area and Westmont Chambers are their location on 63rd Street and Fairview Avenue in Westmont. AMBASSADOR SPOTLIGHT
Chirag Darji
DnD Transfers
This month’s featured Ambassador is Chirag Darji of DnD Transfers. Chirag has been a Lisle Area Chamber member for 3 years. In addition to the Ambassador Committee, Chirag is also the Chair of the Lisle Area Leads Committee. Chirag owns and operates DnD Transfers, a local processing and merchant services organization, specializing in helping business small and large save on credit card processing costs. Chirag is responsible for all activities from Sales to post-setup support. He has been in this field for 4 years.
The best part of being an Ambassador for the Lisle Area Chamber is that it allows Chirag an avenue to speak to business owners about the cost of doing business without being in sales. Everyone in his line of work is focused on sales, whereas Chirag likes to check on Chamber members and new members/businesses within the community to see how their business is doing and what we can do, as a Chamber, to help them grow. In that process, Chirag also gives them information/education about his business and they can find common ground, and partner together. It’s very rewarding as far as a brand building experience.
Chirag lives in Woodridge with his wife and 2 children. His son is 7 and his daughter is 4. When he is not working, he is usually being a jungle gym for his kids. Outside of that, Chirag likes to build things with his hands whenever he gets the chance. He has 4 mantras: Feast upon uncertainty; Fatten upon disappointment; Invigorate in the presence of difficulties; and Enthuse over apparent defeat. Always know, for every 1 door that closes, 2 more open. It just means you weren’t meant to walk through the door that closed!!!

This local campaign runs now through December 10, 2025.
Toys for Tots accepts new, unwrapped toys for boys and girls from infants to age 12. The age groups they typically need more for are 0-2 and 10-12 years. Some ideas for older children include hand-held electronics, jewelry sets, cosmetics, arts and crafts, models, and creative, educational and athletic equipment.
Your generosity helps bring smiles to local families this holiday season. Let’s make a difference together!
