Dear Friends,
As we enter the final month of the year, I find myself reflecting with so much gratitude. This chapter thrives because of the people who pour their time, energy, and heart into it - our dedicated Board of Directors, our hardworking committee members, the generous sponsors and partners who support our programs, and of course, each of you who show up, engage, learn, and lift one another up. I want to give a very special thank you to our chapter administrator, James Nicholson, whose steady leadership behind the scenes keeps everything running smoothly. We truly couldn’t do what we do without James’ tireless support and patience.
I hope you’ll join us for our December 8 luncheon, where we’ll wrap up the year with a relaxed “fireside conversation” between me and our President-Elect, Trey Harper. This gathering is a chance to celebrate another successful year, connect with your colleagues, and hear about the priorities and vision guiding our Fort Worth-Metro Chapter into 2026. No slides, no formalities - just community and conversation. And I hope you’ll dress festively for the season!
This meeting will also be my last as Chapter President, and it has been one of the greatest honors of my professional life. I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished together over the past two years, and I look forward to continuing to support our chapter in my new role as Immediate Past President.
I hope you’ll join us as we close out the year with gratitude for all we’ve achieved, and hope for everything ahead.
Warmest wishes,
Hillary Bessinger, CFRE
2025 AFP Fort Worth Metro Chapter President
