Luke 2:11

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is Christ the Lord.

It's hard to believe December is here already! This is a busy month at school and in our homes.  From all of us here at First Methodist School, we pray you have a joyous, peaceful holiday season as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ!

Christmas program

FMS Christmas Program, Wednesday 12/17, 9:30 am

Make sure to join us for our Christmas program in the Main Sanctuary of First United Methodist Church on Wed. 12/17 at 9:30a. All classes 2 years old and up will be performing! Tue/Thu students will meet their teachers in the foyer of the sanctuary at 9:20 am. Tue/Thu students will be picked up from their drop off/pick up door at the school immediately following the program. Tue/Thu students will not attend class on Wed. 12/17.

In order for us to have school safely, anyone with symptoms of any illness must remain at home. Please monitor your child's health and the persons in your student's household to ensure that measles, strep, RSV, flu, COVID, and other illnesses are not introduced into our buildings. Vaccines are free or low cost through the Dallas County Health Dept. and are the most effective way to prevent the spread of illness. Please take advantage of available resources and follow the guidance of the local health departments and the CDC to ensure the health and safety of your family and our school.
