R2 CERTIFICATION LICENSE

LICENSE FEE INCREASES & NEW APPLICATION FEES

SERI License Fees for R2 Certification are increasing for the first time since 2018. Beginning April 1, 2026, the annual license fee will be $2,500 USD per facility (discounts for non-profits and qualifying regions remain unchanged). Also, all submitted License Applications on or after February 1, 2026, will include a non-refundable $150 USD application fee.

ei STANDARD

NEW SERI ELECTRONICS IMPACT (ei) STANDARD: PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD OPEN 

After nearly two years of development, the ei TAC has released a draft of the new Electronics Impact (ei) Standard for public comment through February 9, 2026. The standard is designed to bring reporting specific to the electronics value chain to larger global reporting standards like SASB, GRI, and CSRD.  

This is your opportunity to be part of the development process and give input to the draft standard. Review the draft and submit your feedback before the deadline.

• Corey will also be speaking at IERC 2026 International Electronics Resource & Recycling Congress in Valencia, Spain, Jan 21-23. 
  
• The SERI Team will have a booth at the MRAI 2026 International Material Recycling Conference & Exposition in Jaipur, India, Jan 20-22.
   
• Corey will be attending the REMADE Conference in Washington, D.C., March 11-12.

R2 AUDITOR TRAINING
