Hello Grafton!
I’m thrilled to introduce myself as the new Library Director, and even more excited to begin this journey with all of you. With over a decade of library experience, I’ve had the privilege of seeing firsthand how a vibrant, welcoming library can enrich a community—and I’m honored to bring that passion and perspective to Grafton.
From my first days here, it’s been clear that Grafton is a place shaped by dedication, curiosity, and a deep sense of connection. As I step into this role, my priority is simple: to listen. Your needs, ideas, and experiences will guide our direction. I’m committed to being accessible and responsive, and I welcome conversations of all kinds—whether you have a suggestion, a question, or a spark of inspiration you’d like to explore.
I envision the library as a true hub of the community: a place where meaningful conversations help guide us forward, where diverse and engaging programs and events spark learning and enjoyment, and where strong community connections are fostered every day. Together, we can imagine new possibilities, try fresh approaches, and build services that reflect the heart and spirit of Grafton.
Thank you for the warm welcome. I’m honored to be here—and I can’t wait to see what we’ll create together.
Warmly,
Katrina Ireland-Bilodeau
Director
