Christmas Day

A Christmas message from Father Burl

"Love. Always." - Presiding Bishop Michael Curry's 2022 Christmas Message

We regret that we will not be able to live stream this Sunday's service. We are sorry for any disappointment this may cause but commend the National Cathedral’s live streamed service, which can be found on their website here.

See the Week-at-a-Glance below for the complete Sunday schedule.

Winter Clothing Drive for Ukraine

Cub Scout Pack 657’s Webelos Arrow of Light Den 10 is conducting a winter clothing drive for people affected by the war in Ukraine. We are hosting a donation bin here at The Falls Church in the office lobby through New Years. New or gently used winter clothing of all sizes is welcome. Donations will be shipped to Ukraine and to scouts in Moldova who are providing winter clothes to Ukrainians who have sought refuge there. Questions? Contact Den Leader Dave Berthiaume.

We have two exciting opportunities to join the staff of The Falls Church that we'd love you to share with your networks to ensure we get the best person for the job.

We are hiring an Interim Director of Music and a Director of The Day School. You can find out more about the roles on the 'Job Openings' page of our website here.

Saturday December 24, join us at 4:30 p.m. for our nativity play written by the children of our church. Nursery will be provided!

Have you always wanted to see a Nativity play WITH a Christmas lobster 🦞? We are here to make your dreams come true - The Falls Church Christmas Eve Narrated Nativity December 24th, Christmas Eve at 4:30 p.m.

We'll have a Christmas lobster 🦞🎄. So join us in The Contemporary Church as our children perform the nativity story with all the traditional characters 🐂🐑👨‍👩‍👦👼🌟, and some extras 🦞, we’ll sing traditional Christmas carols and there will be a Holy Eucharist. Nursery will be available during this service. ALL children are invited to come dressed in costume for this service, and there will be an opportunity for everyone to be a part of the nativity scene.

In order to protect the privacy of our children, we will not live stream this service. We are sorry for any disappointment this may cause but commend the National Cathedral’s live streamed services for Christmas, which can be found on their website.
