A big shout out to Coach Mike and his volunteer group from Excel Sports for donating and handing out 400 pairs of shoes and socks to our clients at the Campus on Saturday!
And another shout out to Campus partner Chaplaincy for the Homeless, for providing live holiday music on the Campus lawn. Our clients expressed much gratitude for shoes, socks and the holiday spirit. Thanks again to Excel Sports and to Chaplaincy for the Homeless!
And last but not least, thanks to an anonymous donor, HSC staff and partners for hosting a wonderful client holiday party on Friday. With appropriate distancing and COVID guidelines in place, our clients enjoyed a tasty meal and music at the Campus. Special thanks to David Simmons with the UBU Project for providing festive holiday tunes and laughter. Some folks were dancing! Another special thanks to Juana and team at Magic Touch catering; the food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. Many clients expressed their gratitude for the fun event.
