Hey Friend's,

Christmas is a wondrous time filled with joy, love, and anticipation. It's a season that transcends festivities; it's about the birth of hope, compassion, and goodwill. As we decorate our homes with twinkling lights and exchange gifts with loved ones, we eagerly await the arrival of Jesus Christ, whose birth symbolizes a message of peace and salvation. The spirit of Christmas brings us together, fostering warmth in our hearts and igniting a sense of generosity and unity. It's a time to cherish traditions, create lasting memories, and spread happiness. As we are celebrating the miracle of Jesus' birth and embracing the values of love, kindness, and renewal it signifies.

The acolyte schedule is posted for all of the Christmas Eve services, if you have emailed me about your availability on Christmas Eve it was updated. I will attach a link to the acolyte section that is the Spring Acolyte schedule. Also, the Spring Food sign up parents please sign up for at least one week!

There is no SNL this week. We are going to be meeting again on January 7th for the Epiphany Bonfire! The Frilingos are hosting this year and we are very grateful for for their willingness to help. If you need the address to their house please email me.

There is no formation this week we hope you are enjoying the Christmas season. We will be back at Formation January 7th!

PARENT CORNER

Parents Needed for SNL Dinner!

It's that time again, SNL begins January 7th which means our parent meal sign-up is back! There is so much that goes into Sunday's in The Attic and one of the ways that parents can help is by providing our meal during SNL. This can be anything from a homemade meal, take-out, or catering...whatever is easiest for you! This is usually for about 20-25 people.

Please take a look at the available dates and sign-up for a time that works best for you! Thank you so much for your dedication to our youth program, we couldn't do it without awesome parents like you!

SNL Parent Volunteer

Being a parent volunteer is one of the easiest and most important things you can do! To be an SNL volunteer, you simply need to be present and engaged with our youth on a Sunday night. We will provide the programming and fun, you just have to come along for the ride! Please try to volunteer for at least one slot.

DYC Winter Camp

The Diocesan Youth Commission plan and host this weekend winter camp January 12th-14th at Camp Mikell. The purpose of the retreat is to pack the inclusive love of Jesus that kids experience at summer camp into an abbreviated winter camp session. We even have summer staffers back to chaperone the weekend!

The theme of the DYC Retreat changes each year, but it’s always a fun weekend of music, worship, program, camp activities, and a themed dance.
