The Explorer's and Contemporary Issues Classes are taking a break until January 6.
THE EXPLORER’S CLASS will start a new series on Genesis. This four-week series will be taught by Mark Fulton and will focus on the historical context and meaning of Genesis, a widely misunderstood and misused book of the Bible. Join the discussion at 9:00 in the Adult Room for discussion and coffee.
THE CONTEMPORARY ISSUES CLASS will begin studying the book
Adam, Eve, and the Serpent
by Elaine Pagels. This will be a four-week series led by Sandi Chamness that will focus on several questions regarding the Genesis stories and Christianity's views on sex and sin. The class meets at 10:30 in the Adult Room.
