This Sunday is New Year’s Eve. We will meet at 8:50am in the Sanctuary for Sacred Space, a brief and contemplative service and a haven where we can hush the clamor of our overstimulated and overcommitted minds. Our traditional service follows at 10am. Pastor Michael will deliver the Epiphany message and the Dayspring Quartet will perform. Children’s Sunday school will not meet, however child care is available for kids up to age eight in Room 117 during both services.

LUNCH BUNCH will meet at PF Chang's at 11:30. The first brunch of 2024 will be January 7 at NOON (the time is changed due to the ministry fair). All are welcome! Email lunch@dayspring-umc.org with questions.

United Methodist Men will meet for breakfast at 8am on January 6. Randy Hamilton will lead an exploration of Heart Math - how we are all connected through our heart's electrical energy.

Kids age 3-6 (preschool and kindergarten) are invited to sing, play, and make new friends in the Cherub Choir. Rehearsals are Sunday mornings from 9:15-9:45, starting January 7, 2024. A new year's ministry fair will be held on January 7 following the 10:00 service. Please plan to stop by after church to see all the ways you can get involved at Dayspring! From classes and small group studies to serving others by building houses, writing letters, or quilting and knitting, you can find something for every age and interest. 

CALLING ALL 7th GRADERS! On January 28th, we’ll have a confirmation class meeting for any 7th graders (and any older students who haven’t been confirmed) and their parents. Confirmation classes will be on Sundays from February 4th through May 5th. Do you love to paint, sculpt, sing, dance, write, take photos or practice any other art form? The Dayspring SAGE team invites you to help us host a Feb. 25 interfaith gathering. Based on the belief that the shortest distance between two people is a story, “Sacred Earth: Common Ground” is a storytelling event that connects us with the earth and with each other. We’re looking for a Dayspring community artist to take part by offering a poem, song, dance, or work of art on the theme of “Sacred Earth.” The event will be held at Dayspring Tempe on Sunday, Feb. 25, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. In addition to the artist, all Dayspring members are invited to join.
