Safe2Help Illinois - "Seek Help Before Harm"

The State of Illinois created Safe2Help Illinois to provide "students a safe, confidential way in which to share information that might help prevent suicides, bullying, school violence or other threats to school safety." The website gives multiple ways to submit a tip, provides self help and encouraging others resource pages, even includes separate resource pages for kids and teens.
Human Rights Day

December 10th is Human Rights Day and the theme for 2021 is "EQUALITY - Reducing inequalities, advancing human rights." The United Nations webpage for Human Rights Day shares information and campaign resources. According to the website, "Human Rights Day is observed every year on 10 December — the day the United Nations General Assembly adopted, in 1948, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). The UDHR is a milestone document, which proclaims the inalienable rights that everyone is entitled to as a human being - regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, language, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Available in more than 500 languages, it is the most translated document in the world."
Illinois School and Campus Safety Resource Center: Resource Highlight - "Illinois Terrorism Task Force School Safety Working Group"

The Illinois Terrorism Task Force School Safety Working Group produced three documents in 2018 to help address school violence and promote threat assessment and reporting. Those documents include Communications Tips for School Threats, Response and Investigative Suggestions for School Threats, and Recommendations of the Illinois Terrorism Task Force School Safety Working Group.
