 Please join us for a   panel discussion about the impacts of development, storm water run-off and climate change on our public water supply and implications for the future. (Related: "Protecting our Water Resources: Now More Than Ever" )

Keynote speaker: Scott Fosler: "Assuring Safe and Affordable Water for the Washington Region"

Scott is  a board member of Montgomery Countryside Alliance and Friends of Ten Mile Creek and board president of Audubon Naturalist Society. He is also a councilmember and immediate past mayor of the Town of Chevy Chase; former member and president of the Montgomery County Council; and past president of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments.

Other speakers will include representatives from WSSC, Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection, and the Interstate Commission on the Potomac River Basin, all moderated by our own Executive Director, Caroline Taylor.  The Sierra Club will also moderate a brief  Q & A session on water resources with  all  County Executive Candidates who have filed.
