On Friday, December 13, at 7:00 p.m., join the Dayspring Choir, members of Cantilena and Euphony, and a small instrumental ensemble in this do-it-yourself sing-through of Handel’s MESSIAH. There’s no rehearsal involved, just come and sing this wonderful music—or just come and listen. This is a wonderfully informal and intimate way to experience one of the great works of Western music. Don’t miss it! (Admission by donation; $10 suggested)

We want to acknowledge that the holidays can be difficult. We hope and pray this year will be filled with joy and gladness. However, some of our days also may be filled with despair or loneliness or tiredness.
The Longest Night Service offers us a new way to look upon our times of emptiness and sorrow. We will be reminded that we have the promise of God’s everlasting love in the birth of the Christ Child. Our God will never forsake us even in the challenging times. There is hope and joy even in our weariness.
Please join us for The Longest Night Service to be held at Dayspring Tempe on Sunday, December 15 at 4:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Our souls and spirits will be renewed during this hour of music, scripture, meditation and silence.

We are embarking on a two-year capital campaign to fund necessary building safety and accessibility upgrades. These include a ramp and railing for the chancel in the sanctuary, updating lighting and audio in the sanctuary, replacing flooring in the Palo Verde room, improving parking lot lighting, repairing or replacing air conditioners as needed, and more.
We hope that everyone who is able will contribute some amount to our campus needs over the next two years. Please let us know what you would like to contribute by December 15th. You then have two years to make your donations. Please make your pledge online HERE.

This holiday season, we are a dropoff location for the Charlie Project, collecting backpacks, jackets, blankets, hygiene items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, lip balm, and combs), and more to give to people experiencing homelessness, with a special focus on veterans who live on the street during the cold winter months. Please bring donations to the bin in the narthex by January 21. Learn more
