University Avenue Redesign Update
The concept design process for the University Avenue Redesign started on July 10th with a presentation from Bolton and Menk. Mayor Willits appointed over 50 stakeholders to serve on the complete streets advisory committee and taskforce committee for this project at the July 17th council meeting.The complete streets advisory committee has met three times.The meeting notes are located on our projects page. Save the Date-City News Hour January 8th
The City News Hour for January 8, 2018 is at 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the Windsor Heights Community Center will be the University Avenue redesign concepts. From 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., will be an interactive presentation on the concept designs for University Avenue. Attendees will be able to do instant polling and provide immediate input on the design amenities and roadway concepts. This concept is the initial concept. The final concept will be brought back to council in March for approval. From 6:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m., we will have a question and answer session. During the month of January, we will have the survey online for you to take if you cannot make the city news hour. We are looking forward to your input on the project.
