CJ students stage Talents for Toys
Senior Global Business Technology students Molly Merrithew and Alyssa Knisley were looking for a way to make a positive impact on their community when they discovered that some Carl Junction students and their families are struggling to provide the daily necessities and that Christmas gifts are not a possibility this year.

They jumped right in and with the help of the community are staging a benefit talent variety show on Saturday, December 8 at 6:30 pm in the Stark Performing Arts Center (206 S. Broadway, Carl Junction). All ticket and sponsorship proceeds will go to purchase special gifts for Carl Junction students in need.

Talent Show performers range from a first grader doing a comedy act to a large group of senior girls presenting a light-hearted dance. There will be singing, dancing, and instrumental music.

“We believe this event will be a heartwarming experience with a wonderful small-town feel. The student performers will do a great job. We are so proud of their hard work and courage to perform to help their fellow classmates,” said Merrithew.
