Feeling Merry and Bright

There are still three weekends left to enjoy the Gift of Lights, presented by Indiana Michigan Power!

We're looking forward to special performances by the Civic Theatre young performers on December 13 and 19 at 6 pm, along with all of the other festivities like meeting Santa and Elsa, riding the train, feeding the giraffes, and sharing memories with family and friends.

The Gift of Lights is every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday starting at 5 pm through December 28. Regular admission is $14 for adults and $12 for children (babies 2 and under are free). Discounted Zoo Member admission can also be purchased from the Zoo for $10 for adults and $8 for children (babies 2 and under are free).

Support Our Mission

There’s still time to make a difference for animals this year! Warm or cold, snow or rain, we’re committed to providing the best possible quality of life for animals of all kinds from giraffes to flamingos to foxes and frogs. Your gifts to the annual fund help provide safe and warm spaces, enrichment, food, medication to the more than 350 animals that call the Zoo home.

Any gift makes a difference! It costs about $35 to feed our six African painted dogs for a day, and about $1000 to feed our pride of lions for a week! We are so grateful to you for your support of the Zoo each and every day, but especially now.

Adopt An Animal

Show your love for Zoo animals by symbolically adopting an animal this holiday season for yourself or someone else! All adopts help fulfill our mission and support animal care at the Zoo, and now through the end of the year, they’re all 10% off!

The digital adopt is $27 and includes an email with a color photo, certificate of adoption and animal fact sheet to print at home. The holiday adopt features the red panda, and it’s $45. It includes a color photo, certificate of adoption, footprint, zoo magnet, and letter from a zookeeper about the red pandas. The classic adopt is $90 and includes a plush animal (while supplies last), 4x6 color photo of the animal, certificate of adoption and animal fact sheet.

Winter Days Are Coming!

Visit the Zoo in every season and see what your favorite animals are up to in winter. We’ll be open for Winter Days every Saturday and Sunday from January 3 through March 15 from 11 am to 4 pm.

Winter Days are free for Zoo Members and discounted for everyone else. Keep an eye on our website events calendar for more details!
