December 2019

Another Hurricane Season is in the books. While we were prepared to serve our Lakewood Ranch neighborhoods, we are glad our area was spared a major hurricane hit this year.

Happy Holidays!
Parting Words from President Victor Kline

First of all, I want to wish everyone a very happy holiday season. I am sure that we are all thankful that major hurricanes passed us by again, but we were ready.

New 2020 Board Members
I want to welcome our three members elected to the 2020 CERT Board of Directors: Jan Kuhn, David Mills and Valerie Stafford-Mallis. They will be excellent additions to our leadership team.

Retiring Board Members
I especially want to thank the following Board members who served with me and will be coming off of the Board at the end of this year. Without their guidance and hard work, we would not have been able to grow and improve our organization: Bob Cheung, Marilyn Kline, Larry Lemley, Teresa Reeck, Alan Silverglat, and Tony Vasile.

I will also be retiring from the Board but will stay involved in training and radio communications. It has been an honor and a pleasure working with all of you over the past ten years, and I hope to be able to continue serving with CERT for many more years.

Victor Kline
President
