- The Alamogordo Chamber supports Shop Small, Shop Local. We encourage our residents to shop small retail businesses this Holiday Season and throughout the year. LIKE the Chamber's Facebook page to learn about our reward card give-a-ways.
- The Alamogordo Chamber is hosting their Annual Parade of Lights Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 5:00 pm with a theme this year as Wild West Christmas. The parade route begins at Tenth Street at Oregon, west to New York and turning south.
- Leadership Otero Class of 2014 is graduating on Wednesday, December 10th. We congratulate our 27 participants, and thank the businesses they represent.
- Jr. Leadership Otero is underway! This class was developed by the Leadership Otero Class of 2013. 17 students in their junior year of high school are in the first class, representing schools from Alamogordo public, home, private, Tularosa and Cloudcroft.
- The Chamber's monthly Business After Hours if Thursday, December 4th at First American Bank. It's a Winter Wonderland, and sure to put you in the Christmas spirit. Decorated trees, wreaths, live and silent auctions and refreshments begin at 5:30 pm.

Leadership Otero 2015
The Alamogordo Chamber of Commerce is preparing for Leadership Otero, Class of 2015. This leadership class is for emerging leaders and to help deepen their knowledge and challenges in our Community. If you, or someone you know, feel will be an asset to the class and benefit from the information they will receive, please complete our application. Applications are available in the Chamber Office or

Meeting dates are monthly on the third Wednesday. Orientation is in January, classes February - November, and graduation in December. Cost of tuition is $400 and covers the cost of transportation, polo shirts, meals when necessary and miscellaneous supplies.

Christmas Tree Lighting
Friday, December 12th at 5:30 pm
Airborne Memorial Park
(west side corner of White Sands Blvd at 10th Street).
Join the Alamogordo Chamber of Commerce and City of Alamogordo as we host the second annual Christmas tree lighting. Feel free to bring an ornament you would like to place on our 25 ft community tree. Hot chocolate will be available for purchase, and a choir of carolers will encourage us all to sing with holiday cheer.

Sixth Annual Career Tech Expo
