On Sunday, December 4th, we gathered together for our 34th annual Christmas at Aldie event at Aldie Mansion!
This year's Christmas at Aldie celebration was attended by approximately 180 guests. During the evening, over 100 guests responded to Heritage Conservancy's request to support repairs and renovations at Aldie Mansion, raising over $88,000! This is by far Heritage Conservancy's most successful Christmas at Aldie mission appeal to date. Read more...

The Plight of the Ash Trees
Though endowed with incredible natural beauty, Upper Bucks County has extremely limited public space for its residents to enjoy. For this reason, Heritage Conservancy’s ~100-acre Fuller-Pursell Preserve in Springfield Township is a true community asset and is one of our most-visited preserves.
Fuller-Pursell provides a place where both local residents and distant visitors can go for a great short hike. The rolling topography and turns of the trail lead to great views and surprises around each bend. Read more...

On Saturday, November 19th, 22 volunteers came out to Croydon Woods to help clean up trash. During the cleanup, we cleared about 500 pounds of trash! We were able to clean up the roadways, the ball fields, and more.
This preserve is a publicly accessible green space and is one of the last remaining coastal plains forests in the state. Your assistance is vital to its ongoing protection and preservation.
Our volunteers did an absolutely amazing job and braved the cold weather to help in our efforts to take care of our vital shared land. The importance of preservation is the keystone of our mission - we strive to create local initiatives to help local lands and our shared community. Croydon Woods is looking great, and we really appreciate the help of all of our volunteers. To sign up for more upcoming events, click here.

10 Years of Amphibian Conservation
Each spring and fall, Heritage Conservancy volunteers take to the streets to save these cold-blooded critters. During certain rainstorms, amphibians migrate to their breeding grounds. However, roads often intersect these journeys, leading to unfortunate casualties.
At two locations in Bucks County, Heritage Conservancy volunteers go out at night, often in a downpour, to help these vulnerable amphibians. The volunteers safely cross the frogs and salamanders in the direction they were heading as they tally each species. Read more...

The Revival of Aldie Mansion
"The Historic Aldie Mansion is a monument to Doylestown's storied past. The charming Tudor-style mansion, with its gorgeous brickwork and arched windows set amidst rolling green lawns and carefully tended gardens, is an oasis amid surrounding shopping centers, apartment complexes, and single-family homes.
But what are the stories behind this exquisite property and its dreamy architecture? And what stories does the building help continue to tell today?"

Making charitable gifts from retirement accounts can save income, estate and inheritance taxes, and increase funds available for family beneficiaries.
Retirement accounts, such as IRAs, 401Ks and SEPs, are great tools for saving for retirement. When you make contributions to these accounts, you generally get a tax deduction which reduces your current income tax burden. Read more...

"Our business supports Heritage Conservancy to help preserve one of the fundamental reasons people want to live in this area: beautiful open spaces such as woodlands, meadows, swamps, flora, and fauna. As more people move into the area, it is incumbent upon us to help preserve as much of the area's traditional character and natural beauty as we can.
Heritage Conservancy is our communities’ leading champion of that effort. It is our privilege to support and be a part of this great organization."
- Brian Benner, President of Warren Weiss Agency
