As Christmas approaches, we ask that you remember the DFF in your holiday plans. While preparing for your holiday celebrations with friends and family, it's important to stop and reflect on the blessings in your own life while also being aware that not everyone is so fortunate. While shopping for gifts, please consider setting aside part of your budget to support the work of the DFF with a charitable donation.

"Discover Fitness has done an incredible thing - they have gotten my child interested in physical activity! He thinks he goes there every week just to have fun, and really looks forward to going where he can jump in and out of the foam ball pit, walk on the balance beam, and run and jump with the other kids learning all kinds of different movements. What I love is watching how these activities are helping Bobby make huge strides in other areas of his day-to-day life. The skills he is learning in gymnastics are giving him confidence to try more and more new things and it's seeped into every aspect of his life. He can ride a scooter and catch a ball with confidence so what could be so hard about putting on socks and shoes and buttoning clothes. While these things all come easily to neurotypical children, these are all things that my child has struggled with, up until very recently anyway and so I believe this progress can be attributed to the weekly activities that he is experiencing through Discover Fitness Foundation. I can see more flexibility in his body movements, better posture and he's confident about his abilities to tackle things that he has never tried before. Volunteer Opportunity!
Please support the DFF and volunteer at the Texas Classic. It will be held at the Galveston Island Convention Center on December 6th-8th. We have several times slots available.

On Sunday, November 10, 2019, Discover Fitness Foundation participated in a 5K in Cypress,TX. Thank you for your support and donations to help make a difference in children's lives. All proceeds go directly to student scholarships. We had 8 participants raising money and DFF supporters impressively raised $11,245!!
A special thank you to Super-supporter Coach Francisco Acuna for being the top fundraiser - raising $7,135! Way to go Francisco!
