BOOK OF THE MONTH

If Die Hard is considered a Christmas movie, then Together We Rot by Skyla Arndt is a Christmas book. There is no better way to celebrate the season then by reading a Christmas - not Christmas book.

Wil's mother has been missing for a year. She cannot accept the fact that her mother left their little family behind. Wil truly believes that her former best-friend, Elwood, and his family has something to do with her mom's disappearance. She will stop at nothing to prove it.

Elwood is dreading the day when he turns 18. The day when he has to leave school and dedicate his life to his father's congregation, The Garden of Adam.

When Elwood inadvertently discovers that his role in the congregation is to be a sacrifice, he runs to the only person who could help, Wil. Together they must uncover the truth behind the church before the monster growing inside of Elwood consumes him.

DEAR YA READERS
SQUEEZY McSQUEEZY

Hello there my dearest lemony friends,

I hope your Thanksgiving was as loud, as festive, and as loving as our Friendsgiving.

This was the first Friendsgiving that we hosted. We sat around the table eating our Together Breakfast (along with mashed potatoes and chips) while sharing good thoughts about our friends. Of course, Friendsgiving would not be complete without the classic video fireplace.

Despite the chaos, I think we would do this again.

During these next few weeks, take the time to enjoy your friends and family (despite how much they may annoy you).

Love,

Squeezy

P.S. Happy Holidays!
