On November 4th, the Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce held its third annual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion conference at Sisters of Charity of Nazareth. The event brought together community leaders, business owners, and residents to discuss DEI initiatives.
The morning featured a Tourism Panel, highlighting the Bardstown Tourism Department’s efforts to integrate DEI into their work, and a Local Panel, where community members shared their DEI experiences and how it shaped their lives.
The keynote speaker, Allyson Khayo, Assistant Vice President of Inclusion and Talent Management at Federal Home Loan Bank, spoke about overcoming adversity in both her career and personal life.

The Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber's Ambassadors met in November for the last time for the 2024 year. We celebrated with a "Friendsgiving Lunch" hosted by My Old Kentucky Home with amazing food!!
We are incredibly blessed to have such outstanding Chamber Ambassadors who consistently demonstrate their unwavering commitment to our business community! These dedicated volunteers are the true backbone of our Chamber, bringing their enthusiasm and expertise to every ribbon cutting, networking event, and member celebration.
