Advocating for employment options
We want to thank our friend and advocate Bridget Kelly, whose brother Jack is served by OP. Bridget started her own fundraiser for OP by sharing Jack’s story and the importance of work opportunities. Jack loves working at OP and is a valued member of our center-based and community work teams.
“Work gives Jack a sense of accomplishment, gets him out of the house every day, and offers him a sense of community. Most importantly, work brings Jack dignity,” she says. Bridget is advocating for individuals and families to continue to have choices in what type of work is best for them. She wants to ensure center-based options remain available for people who thrive in supported environments. Thank you for your advocacy, Bridget!
