Dear (Contact First Name),
|
As the days become shorter and chillier, we decorate our community with lights and anticipate the winter festivities with family and friends. The change in seasons comes with a big change for the library as well, as we say goodbye and best wishes to our Library Director, Rochelle Levin. Assistant Director Catherine Stewart will be acting as interim director while a search is conducted to fill the position.
In the meantime, take a break from the bustle of the holidays and stop by the library for a good book. Bring your coffee or hot chocolate (we won't scold you!) and browse through the holiday ideas in our collection of magazines, or take home a recipe book for your holiday meal planning.
Take a look at what's going on this month at the library in the sections below, and we send you warm wishes for a wonderful start to winter!
Sincerely,
The Memorial Library of Nazareth & Vicinity Staff

Thanks to the Friends for a Successful Fall Book Sale
|
On behalf of the Library, thank you to the Friends and the community for the successful November book sale. The Friends volunteered hundreds of hours sorting and organizing the thousands of books, puzzles, DVDs and more that the generous community-minded individuals donated to the Library.
And, thank you to the public who took time from their busy schedules to visit the book sale and purchase the items. Your work and donations resulted in over $4000 in sales! Monies raised will go towards the purchase of books for adults, teens, and children.
Please consider joining the Friends. The Friends meet bi-monthly on the third Tuesday night at 6:30 pm. The dates for 2016 are: January 19th, March 15th, May 17th, July 19th, September 20th, and November 15th.

Did you have a chance to take our Adult Programming Survey?
We are busy planning activities for the 2016 calendar, and we want your input about what programs you'd like to see at the Library. Are you passionate about history or interested in technology classes? Do you want to learn how to do a craft or would you like to sit back and enjoy some live music in our living room? Please help us in our goal to offer you a slate of programs that fit your needs and interests by
filling out this short survey.
