Create brilliant abstract silkscreen printed greeting/Christmas cards with your instructor, David B. Gillespie. Using this simple technique you will complete 10 cards. No drawing is required to produce colourful, surprising and exciting works a former student described as “magic”. No drawing experience is required. A good sense of adventure is all that is needed!

All supplies and card blanks supplied.

Christmas Barn Quilt Painting- Not just for Barns anymore

Artist, Wendy Capp will guide you through the process of creating your very own 16 x 16 wooden seasonal barn quilt. There will be a selection of 2 different Christmas themed patterns for you to choose from.

Alcohol Ink with Shree Bellur

Saturday, December 17

2:30 - 5:30 pm

Alcohol ink flows like magic to form eye-catching art pieces. Come fall in love with these enchanting, exuberant colors and how they mix together. The art created will be free flowing on Yupo paper as well as ceramic tile. Use of straw, brush and pure fluid flow on paper. Artists of all levels are invited.

By attending this class, as an artist, and a participant the idea is to find peace while creating art. Get mesmerized by playing with ink and the unpredictable artistic creations it brings out!

Barn Quilts Not just for Barns Anymore

Felt Art with Kelly McLeod

Sunday, January 22, 2023

1:00 – 5:00 pm

Participants will learn the technique of dry felting to create a painting from wool. Participants will begin to understand perspective and colour. Various materials such as locks, yarn and wool can be used to enhance their picture. Participants will learn Kelly’s technique to create three dimensional works.

Level: Beginner

Students are asked to bring scissors, any yarn, ribbon, wool or thread that you may have at home to embellish your painting.

Turkish Lamp Workshop

For this workshop there will be a choice of 4 different lamps to make. You can choose from a Candle Holder, Table Lamp, Swan Lamp or Moon Lamp. The workshop is taught by real Turkish Artisans. Participants will leave with their own mosaic lamp.
