Enjoy the ambiance of calming music and a fireplace projection as you join us for a relaxed evening of creativity.
Art supplies and a variety of coloring pages will be available. Plus stop by our hot cocoa station to create a cozy treat.

This group meets via Zoom on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month. If you are unemployed, underemployed, seeking a new career direction, or re-entering the job market, this program is perfect for you.
Meetings include interactive workshops on topics relevant to career transition, guest speakers, access to hiring managers, small group breakout rooms to network, and 1-on-1 coaching guidance. Participating on a regular basis will give job seekers tools and strategies for a successful job search.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga emphasizes deep relaxation and stress reduction. It involves holding passive poses with the support of props such as bolsters and blocks (props will be provided to borrow). This class will also be accessible for students who wish to participate in chair yoga. Beginners welcome!

Dale Partis Greene is an Artist Member of the Rockport Art Association and Museum and a past juried member of the National Association of Women Artists. She is also a member of the Newburyport Art Association, where she won the Laura Coombs Hills Winter Juried Show Award for Excellence in Oil, and has held solo featured artist exhibits in the Laura Coombs Hills Gallery. She belongs to Plein Air Painters of New Hampshire and is an associate artist at the North Shore Arts Association. She has won numerous awards in exhibits at Marblehead Art Association, Andover Arts Guild’s Art in the Park, and the Ipswich Art Show. She is a member of the Newburyport Ten Plein Air Painters which paints weekly in the Cape Ann area and hosts an annual exhibit at Newburyport Art Association.
Dale's work is displayed at the Library through the end of December. Drop in any time during our business hours to enjoy her exhibition.

During donation days you are welcome to donate books and DVDs in good condition.
Please note that textbooks, encyclopedias, magazines, CDs, cassette tapes, VHS, vinyl records, puzzles, games, and toys are not accepted. Books that are moldy, damp, or otherwise damaged are also not accepted.
Donations are limited to 4 bags at a time. If you have a donation larger than 4 bags please email the Friends at fohwpl@gmail.com to discuss before bringing your items to the Library.
