Friday Morning Hoops- Westgate Park and Recreation Center
Meet new friends and play 15-minute running games with scorekeeping and fair play on Fridays, 9 a.m. at Westgate Park and Recreation Center, West Palm Beach. For ages 18+, $2/person.

Paper Cutting with Hiromi Moneyhun Workshop- Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens
Participants will learn special cutting techniques and create a one-of-a-kind kirie holiday ornament Sat, Dec 7, 10 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. at the Oki Education Center in the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens, Delray Beach. This workshop is taught at an introductory level, providing guests the basics on an array of Japanese subjects. $60/participant, $10/material fee. RSVP required.

Prescribed Burns planned for Okeeheelee Park Natural Areas
The Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department will be conducting a series of prescribed burns at the Okeeheelee Park Natural Area located at 7715 Forest Hill Blvd, between November 4, 2019 and May 31, 2020 & at the Okeeheelee Park South Natural Area located at 7500 Forest Hill Blvd, between November 4, 2019 and October 31, 2020.

The purpose of these burns is to reduce dead and dense vegetation and to improve native habitat. Click here to read more about our Prescribed Burn program.

Green Cay Nature Center & Wetlands is currently closed for the construction of a much needed, new nature center roof. The entire site is closed for 4-6 months during construction. For the most up-to-date information on the facility, please call 561-966-6686.
