HERE'S WHAT'S HAPPENING

Hope in Action: December at MMF

Giving Tuesday Success

Thank You for an Incredible Giving Tuesday! Because of your generosity, compassion, and heart… we raised about $5,000 to support families battling pediatric cancer.

Every dollar helps keep a family afloat during the hardest moments of their lives, whether it’s a warm meal, a tank of gas, a utility bill, or a distraction bag that brings a smile to a child’s face.

Your kindness truly matters. And this community continues to show up in the most meaningful ways.

From all of us at the Michael Magro Foundation, thank you for giving hope, giving comfort, and giving love yesterday, and every day.

Thank You for Making Our Mix and Mingle a Success

On behalf of all of us at the Michael Magro Foundation, thank you for your generous support and for helping make our December Mix and Mingle at Patrizia’s in Hauppauge such a memorable night.

We were honored to co-host this event with our wonderful partners, Miguel Cruz and Nick Woessner. Their energy and commitment set the tone for an evening filled with connection, joy, and a sense of community spirit. Thanks to your participation and donations, the night was a tremendous success. We raised $ 34,749.00!

Our DJ kept the dance floor moving, and 21 For Fun, led by my dear friend Tony Buse, had guests engaged and entertained with blackjack and roulette throughout the evening. On The Spot Photos added a special touch by capturing countless smiles and sending everyone home with a keepsake magnet.

Your generosity truly fuels our mission. Every contribution helps us continue providing comfort and critical support to children and families facing pediatric medical challenges. We could not do this work without you.

Thank you again for being part of a night filled with fun, friendship, and heartfelt giving. We are grateful for your continued support of the Michael Magro Foundation's mission.

A Season of Giving Made Possible by Generosity

A Heartfelt Thank You to Michael Furino & The Furino Team! This season of giving is shining a little brighter thanks to the incredible generosity of Michael Furino and the entire Farino Team.

Not only did they do an amazing job collecting gift cards for families in need, but they also donated $725 to help us purchase even more gift cards for the families we support.

Your kindness brings comfort, hope, and relief to parents navigating some of the toughest moments of their lives. Because of you, more families will feel cared for this holiday season.

From all of us at the Michael Magro Foundation, thank you for making a meaningful difference.

Young Leaders Spreading Holiday Cheer

A huge and heartfelt thank you to Nassau County Daisy Girl Scout Troop #3165 for their incredible generosity this season!

These amazing young leaders collected a beautiful array of toys to bring comfort, smiles, and joy to children in the hospital, and donated them to the Michael Magro Foundation to support our holiday giving program.

Their kindness is making a real difference for kids facing treatments, procedures, and long hospital days. We are so grateful for your service, your spirit, and the example you’re setting for giving back to the community.

Thank you, Kinsley, for thinking of us and Troop 3165, for spreading holiday cheer and hope!

A Holiday Giveback Filled With Heart

Our deepest gratitude to Philanthropy Network New York for hosting a beautiful Holiday Giveback event in support of two wonderful charities, Family & Children’s Association and the Michael Magro Foundation.

Thanks to the caring hands and generous spirits who joined us, gifts were lovingly wrapped for families in need, and 200 distraction bags were packed to bring comfort, smiles, and a little relief to children in the hospital or awaiting treatment.

A very special thank you to Donna Drake for opening the doors of her studio and, as always, supporting PNNY and local charities throughout the year. Your kindness helps make moments like this possible.

It was truly a beautiful community service evening, filled with compassion, teamwork, and the true spirit of the season.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, gave back, and made a difference. Together, we create brighter days for the families we serve.

Bringing Light to a Family When It Matters Most

For a family in Ronkonkoma whose child is bravely undergoing treatment at Stony Brook Children's, this holiday season has been filled with long days, uncertainty, and a strength no family ever expects to need.

Elizabeth and Daniel are 6-year-old twins. Elizabeth is currently battling leukemia, and her courage continues to inspire everyone around her.

Earlier this month, their home was transformed into something truly magical.

Through our continued partnership with Yule Love Lights, the Michael Magro Foundation was honored to recommend this family for a holiday light display, completely free of charge. What may look like beautiful lights from the outside represents something much deeper on the inside: comfort, encouragement, and a powerful reminder that they are not alone.

For the past few years, Yule Love Lights has opened their hearts and shared their talents with families facing unimaginable challenges, decorating nearly 20 homes this season, all recommended by nonprofit organizations supporting children and families in crisis.

These lights are more than decorations. They are a message of love, hope, and togetherness shining brightly for families who need it most.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to Yule Love Lights for helping us bring light during some of the darkest moments.

An Inspiring Evening of Giving

We are incredibly grateful to Vibrance 360 Wellness in Greenvale for hosting such a meaningful evening in support of the Michael Magro Foundation. The turnout was amazing, and the generosity was truly overwhelming. Guests donated unwrapped gifts for children in the hospital, gift cards to essential retailers, and new winter items, including hats, scarves, gloves, and socks, all of which will be distributed directly to children and families navigating cancer treatment and long hospital stays.

At MMF, these donations mean so much more than gifts. They provide comfort during treatments, warmth on long hospital days, and a powerful reminder to children and their families that they are not alone. Each item collected helps us bring moments of normalcy, dignity, and joy to families facing the unimaginable.

The Michael Magro Foundation was honored to be the beneficiary of such an inspiring evening.

Distraction Bag Donation

A heartfelt thank you to Diana from ACD Vinyl for her incredible generosity and creativity. Diana put together 30 custom bags filled with love, along with 3 boxes of original Squishmallows, all to bring comfort and smiles to children while they receive treatment.

These special items were donated to the NYU Langone Inpatient Pediatric Unit in Mineola, where they’ll help brighten hospital days and remind children that they are cared for and not alone.

We are so grateful for community partners like Diana who turn compassion into action and help us bring moments of joy to children facing incredibly tough days.

End-of-Year Giving

As we approach the end of the year, we reflect on the children and families who rely on the Michael Magro Foundation during some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

Your generosity allows us to provide financial relief, emotional support, and moments of comfort to families facing childhood cancer—when they need it most.

If you are considering a year-end gift, please know that every donation, no matter the size, helps us continue this important work and makes a meaningful difference.

Thank you for being part of our mission and for helping us bring hope, compassion, and support to families in need.

Happy Holidays from the Michael Magro Foundation!

This holiday season, we are grateful for the strength, generosity, and compassion of our community. Because of your support, families facing childhood cancer receive comfort, hope, and reminders that they are never alone. Your kindness makes a lasting impact on the children and families we serve.

From all of us at the Michael Magro Foundation, we wish you a joyful holiday season and a New Year filled with hope.
