Community Impact
We are honored to highlight one of our partner agencies this month: Boys & Girls Club of Athens. The Boys & Girls Club of Athens has been serving the community for more than 55 years, providing a safe, clean, and healthy environment for its members. This December, consider the difference you can make in the lives of youth ages 6-18 by donating to United Way of Northeast Georgia, supporting partner agencies like this one in your community.
Events
Holiday Hello & Happy Hour
Join us at our office tomorrow, Dec. 10, from 3:30-5:30 PM for our Holiday Hello & Happy Hour. This event is a chance for us to thank you - our partner agencies, donors, volunteers, and local advocates - for all of your hard work and contributions this year.
Kicking Off the Holidays By Giving
The holidays are in full swing and we celebrated the start of the season with your generosity. This year, our Giving Tuesday donations supported the Clarke and Oconee County Dolly Parton's Imagination Library programs. Because of your giving, more children age 0-5 years old now have the opportunity to receive a book a month for a year. Providing the gift of reading to children in your community this Giving Tuesday is only the start. Learn more about these local Dolly Parton's Imagination Library programs or our partner agencies that support early childhood success.
Thank You!
Because of the generosity of our volunteers and corporate sponsors, we are able to serve our community and generate impact.

This month, we served the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia, whose mission is to end hunger as part of an overall community effort to alleviate poverty. For every $1 received, four meals are able to be distributed locally. Thank you for your giving and support of Food Bank of Northeast Georgia!
