BOD Interview With Ryan Bald

What is your industry background?

Began as a research Chemist formulating coatings while also performing technical service and completing individual research as well. I transitioned into a sales role in 2010 and have been working with contractors promoting the benefits of roof restoration ever since.

Why is it important to serve on the RCMA Board of Directors?

It is important to me to be able to be a voice at the table working to progress the industry in a unified way. My goal is to continue to work within the RCMA to use my voice & knowledge to continue to grow the RCMA and continue to increase the presence of Roof Coatings in the Marketplace.

What value does RCMA bring to the industry?

The RCMA unites most major manufacturers and vendors to solve problems together and progress the industry forward. RCMA does this through its Government Affairs, Communications, Technical, & Membership Committees. RCMA has also designed the first ever joint non-biased training to help "Bring-Up" the level of contractor in the marketplace.

What do you like to do when you're not immersed in Roof Coatings?

I live and breathe this stuff, but when I am not traveling working with contractors I am spending my time at home with my Wife (Breanna) and 4 Children (Carter, William, Ellie, Hudson). Any extra time I try to get out golfing or do some hiking/canoeing/camping.

Reminder: Annual Dues
