Winter Break is December 20, 2020 - January 3, 2021.

On-campus housing will remain open during Winter Break at no additional cost for students who are unable to return home due to various reasons. One market and dining location will remain open to provide support. Students can continue their in-person courses, research, and activities after Winter Break as before.

Dining Hours of Operation for Winter Break:
• Café Ventanas: December 20 - 23 from 12 - 8 p.m.; December 24 - 25 from 12 - 6 p.m.; December 26 - 30 from 12 - 8 p.m.; December 31 - January 1 from 12 - 6 p.m.; and January 2 from 12 - 8 p.m.
• Seventh Market: December 20 - January 2 from 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

All market and dining locations will resume Winter quarter operating hours on January 3, 2021. Students who remain on campus but leave for a meal or other recreational activities with others where they have to remove their face covering will need to sequester and resume wearing a face covering in their residential unit for 14 days, with testing on Days 1, 5 and 10.

Residential students needing to leave campus for a period of more than 18 hours or overnight will have to notify their Residential Life staff by clicking on the Housing Portal and going to the Returning Home After Move-In link. Completing this form will also generate an email to the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs. Learn more.
