December Issue 2019
Wishing you joy this holiday season!
Greetings!

Thank you to everyone who was able to make it out to the UNG Holiday Lunche at Mill Run Golf Course on December 13th. It was a wonderful lunch with great friends.

The UNG celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2018 with the goal to grow our annual memberships. We are happy to have achieved 50% growth on membership in 2019. The two foundations that the UNG had created for the business community are:
  • Events to make introductions for building rapports among our members, and
  • Collaborative opportunities that members can benefit from working together.

The UNG is a diverse group of men and women entrepreneurs, business owners, representatives from larger organizations. We have grown from 100% home-based business members 21 years ago, to now 50% home-based, 50% brick-and-motar or with office locations in the community.

New and exciting initiatives are coming in 2020!

Regards,
Annie Hardock

UNG Holiday Lunch was a jolly good time!
Thank you to everyone who came to the UNG Holiday Lunch at Mill Run Golf Course.

We celebrated for what we have achieved collaboratively, and unveiled our plan for 2020.

We had a lovely lunch catered by Mill Run Golf Course, entertainment from Kathy Normandeau (keyboard) and Cynthia Nidd (violin).

Annie prepared a recap of UNG events of 2019 and we watched the exciting recap of "The Insane Life of Entrepreneurship". Billy Andreson from The Courage Crusade was drawn to speak for 1 minute and our newest member Dawn Campbell from Onix Networking Canada had 2 minutes to introduce ourself to the group.

Some of our UNG members and Sponsors donated prizes that were raffled off at the end of the lunch.

All-in-all it was a wonderful lunch and we are already looking forward to meeting everyone again next year for lunch at Scrambles restaurant on Friday, January 17th.
