DECEMBER TRAINING OPPORTUNITY!
Tuesday, December 14th
10:00 AM - 11:30 AM EST
Online via Zoom

Topics: Lessons learned from COVID-19, promising practices for coalition work moving forward.

Description: The COVID-19 pandemic challenged us to rethink how we do our work. But the barriers of the past two years also created room for innovation, and we found new ways to connect and build relationships across the Zoom-sphere. This was especially important for coalitions, because they do so much of their work in-person to build trust and relationships. Join the Community Health Training Institute for an informal coffee chat with coalition members and leaders, who will talk more specifically about their work-life experience during COVID-19, including some challenges, successes, and lessons learned. We'll hear from coalitions from across the state that work to support communities on a variety of topic areas. This will be a lightly moderated discussion, with time at the end for Q&A with our guest speakers. You can submit questions for our guest speakers via the registration form.

Please note, our speakers are experts in community health, not COVID-19. The goal of this chat is to address how community health work has shifted due to COVID-19, not to answer questions about COVID-19 itself.

Audience: Coalition leaders and members, community advocates, and public health professionals.

Moderator: Gina Rodriguez, Health Resources in Action

Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to:
  1. Network with other coalitions in the state around their experience doing coalition work during COVID-19.
  2. Learn best practices and key takeaways from pivoting to remote work.
  3. Reflect on how their work shifted and apply lessons learned for future shifts in coalition work.
RESOURCES
SURVEY OPPORTUNITY!

Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation and Tufts Health Plan Foundation have come together in service to community. Our intent is to soon combine into one foundation named Point32Health Foundation.

In the coming months, various community leaders and stakeholders will be invited to share what’s important to them and highlight opportunities for advancing equity-focused solutions.

To improve health and wellbeing in New England communities, we would like to call upon your critical leadership and insights to honor community in our work as we move forward and ensure we are listening and learning from you.

To ensure we are as inclusive as possible, we need your input. Please complete this short survey by Thursday, December 16, to identify community leaders representing diverse organizations across the region.
Your responses will help us build and broaden our networks and identify people to include in one-on-one discussions, small group dialogues and community listening sessions.

Please contact Ben Wood if you have any questions. Thank you for your insights!
