New Beginnings!
No endings, just new beginnings for our new Director Stephanie Harrison and and longtime Director Patti Haar. Stephanie brings her years of library experience and great sense of enthusiasm to the library as she steps into her new role, while Patti starts the next chapter of her wonderful story.

Information Specialist
A friendly person is needed to provide public service at the Information Desk two evenings and Saturdays.
The Patterson Library has an immediate opening for a permanent, reliable part-time information specialist. Shift includes Monday and Tuesday evenings and Saturdays. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with college experience preferred, have strong computer and problem solving skills, and be customer-oriented, courteous, and able to work with the public in a small community setting. Position includes providing friendly customer service to library patrons of all ages, overseeing public computer use, assisting patrons with a variety of information needs, processing materials, and other information department tasks. Previous library experience is a plus. Salary starting at $12.50/hour. Please send cover letter and resume to or stop by the library to fill out an application.

Toys for Tots & Holiday Food Drive
A little goes a long way when neighbors come together to help our local families in need. We will collect food for the Patterson Food Pantry's "Holiday Food Drive" and new unwrapped toys for the Marine Corps' annual "Toys for Tots" program. Food for the Thanksgiving collection should be dropped off by Friday, November 16th. Toys will be collected until December 15th. Donations may be dropped off in our vestibule during business hours.
