Adult Yoga

Thursdays - December 4th and December 18th

6:15 PM to 7:15 PM

Join us for an adult yoga class! Class is beginner and intermediate friendly. Modifications can always be made for poses to ensure safe movement for your body.



Bring a yoga mat, or a towel, and some water to stay hydrated.

ESL Classes

Fridays

Beginner: 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM

Advanced Beginner/Intermediate: 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM

Adults, join us for a series of free English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. Classes are a mix of lesson instruction and conversation building. Each class will be a new topic. As this is a very popular program, please be sure you can attend the session before registering.

Monday Afternoon Book Club

Monday - December 8th

For the month of December we'll be discussing the cozy Christmas novel, The Wishing Bridge by Viola Shipman. Join us for a great discussion!

Grief to Love Workshop

Tuesday - December 9th

6:15 PM to 7:45 PM

How does grief present itself? How do we deal with grief? 


In this experiential workshop you will learn and practice tools to comfort you through your grieving process after losing a loved one. Whether you have been grieving for many years or have recently experienced a loss, this workshop is for you. Lindsey creates a warm compassionate environment for sharing your deepest feelings. She will guide you to journal messages from your departed loved one to heal, resolve and experience love. Experience guided comforting, peaceful meditations. Understand the stages of grief: denial, bargaining, depression, anger, acceptance and finding the new you and your purpose.


Lindsey will guide students with her clairvoyant abilities of signs and messages received from departed loved one, deepening connection.  Bring to class: Journal, writing materials.

Movie Matinee for Adults: The Holiday

Adult Craft: Holiday Gingerbread Man Soap Making Class

Saturday - December 13th

1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Join Ms. Eun for this fun program to make your own gingerbread man soap. This can be a fun holiday gift for yourself, or you can gift this to your family and friends to spread the holiday vibes :)


Wallington patrons will have priority during the first week of registration, beginning November 22nd. Non-residents will be able to register beginning November 29th.


You must enter a library card number to register, regardless of residence. Registrations without a valid library card number will be canceled.

Woolly Pets: Christine's ADULTS Creative Wool Needle Felting Class

Wednesday - December 17th

5:30 PM to 7:00 PM

Enjoy creating a Reindeer with Christine Hsiao and learn the joys of felting!! This session is open to adults only. Registration is required.

Kids ages 0-6yrs can join us for a fun filled story time session with dance, music, and craft. They might even get a chance to play with bubbles on a few special summer Storytime sessions.

Monday - December 8th

4:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Families can join us to watch this favorite Christmas movie wearing their matching pajamas or ugly sweaters. While watching the movie, we will also be doing a simple Grinch related craft.

Chocolate milk will be provided to bring in the holiday vibes:)
