Global Member Engagement & Events

Throughout the year, ISS brought its community together in key yachting hubs around the world. Highlights included:

Monaco Members Reception at the Fairmont Monte-Carlo, bringing together leaders and emerging talent to kick off the Monaco Yacht Show.
West Palm Beach Members Reception, connecting designers, captains, shipyards, brokers, and suppliers.
A dynamic METS Members Reception in Amsterdam, bringing together innovators and industry leaders from around the globe.

The 2025 Design & Leadership Awards

Hosted at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, this year’s gala honored excellence in superyacht design and leadership. The evening showcased standout projects from leading shipyards and studios, with honorees selected by an esteemed panel of judges including:

Jim Dixon, Chris Critchett, Ron Cleveringa, Henry Hawkins, Evan Marshall, Kevin Merrigan, Ken Freivokh, Luiz DeBasto, Hans-Maarten Bais, Mario Pedol, Sam Sorgiovanni and Sylvia Bolton

Sustainability, technological innovation, and cohesive design remained central themes throughout the awards.

Industry Advocacy & IMO Engagement

ISS continued to strengthen its voice in global regulatory discussions through close collaboration with organizations such as ICOMIA, ensuring the superyacht sector remains represented in key IMO initiatives.

Education, Leadership & Talent Development

Investing in the future of the industry remained a priority through:

The ISS Leadership Series, featuring thought-provoking discussions at the Fairmont Monte-Carlo and other global venues
Expansion of the Talent Pledge Initiative, supporting mentorship and skills development for the next generation
Growth of the ISS Ambassador Program, strengthening global connections
