MEMBER UPDATE
December 2025
| | The Oregon Primary Care Association's December newsletter highlights that early bird registration for the 2026 Annual Conference is open, a reminder to register for NACHC's P&I Forum, and Senator Wyden engaging with health centers to understand challenges ahead! | | | | |
The Oregon Primary Care Association's Annual Conference brings together Oregon’s 33 community health centers for connection, shared learning, and system transformation.
When we speak of “art,” we mean the creativity and skill it takes to build, protect, and sustain Oregon’s health care safety net. Every day, FQHCs bring evidence-based practices to life through innovative solutions that meet your community’s unique needs.
Expect engaging plenaries, practical breakout sessions, and networking with FQHC professionals and partners from across the state.

Join us for NACHC’s 2026 Policy & Issues Forum (P&I) – this annual landmark event unites CHC executives, clinicians, board members, and state association leaders to shape the future of primary care in America.
The forum will focus on innovative approaches to chronic disease management, demonstrate the cost-saving impact of CHCs to bipartisan members of Congress, and help shape policies that help make Americans healthy.

Working with Oregon's health centers, community partners, and policymakers to inform health policy at the state and federal levels is an important part of the Oregon Primary Care Association’s mission to transform primary care.
OPCA's policy team hosts a monthly webinar every month on the second Tuesday from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM to keep members informed. Sign up here for call reminders and notifications.
| | OPCA also developed a new landing page to house policy resources in one place. We’re continuing to add tools and information to make it as useful as possible. Please access the Policy Briefing Room page here. If you have materials you would like to see on the webpage, please contact Erin Woods, Health Policy Analyst, at ewoods@orpca.org. | | Simon Parker-Shames, OPCA Data Strategy Director, presenting an update on VisualizOR. | | |
Community Health Centers are trusted primary care providers in Oregon's health safety net. As a result, many health care entities and partners look to CHCs as trailblazers, innovators, and collaborators. At the same time, health centers are accountable to payors to reduce the total cost of care while stewarding community health. Meeting these expectations places an immense burden on community health centers.
OPCA's December blog post features Carla Jones, Network Director, to highlight partnerships with payors to position IntegratOR, the clinically-integrated network, as an ideal strategy to address anticipated changes in health policy.

Whether your health center provides comprehensive prenatal care, primarily supports people during the postpartum period, or falls somewhere in between, this event is designed for you!
The Summit will explore Oregon’s maternal health landscape and offer practical, actionable strategies for improving outcomes across the perinatal continuum.
If your clinic serves people of reproductive age in any capacity, this Summit will offer tools, partners, and ideas to strengthen care and improve maternal health outcomes.
