Grits & Issues Breakfast
The annual Grits & Issues Breakfast was held last Friday at Epworth By The Sea. A sell-out crowd joined State Representatives Don Hogan and Jeff Jones, State Senator William Ligon, and U.S. Representative Buddy Carter to discuss views on current legislative topics. Our delegation delved into issues such as off-shore drilling, border protection, and superfund sites, among other topics.

Grits & Issues is a signature annual Chamber event that we are proud to present to our membership. Thank you to all our sponsors for making this possible. Pictured above (l-r), State Rep. Don Hogan, State Rep. Jeff Jones, U.S. Rep. Buddy Carter and State Sen. William Ligon. For a photo gallery of this event, please click here . (Photos courtesy of Jay Sellers.)

It ranges from threats and verbal abuse to physical assaults and even homicide. It can affect and involve employees, clients, customers and visitors. In today's world, each of us needs to know the signs of workplace violence and how to prevent it.

Our next installment of the Chamber's Business Education Series will address the important topic of Workplace Violence on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 8:30 AM. Mark your calendars and look for more details to come soon.
