DECEMBER ASSOCIATION LUNCHEON
The December Association Luncheon will be held on
December 17 at 11:45 am at the Ramada Plaza –Bordeaux Convention Center.
The installation of the 2020 Officers and Directors will take place, as well as, presentation of the prestigious “REALTOR® of the Year” award. The Public Relations Committee will be collecting for two worthy causes at the Luncheon. It is requested that each member bring at least one item of canned food or other non-perishable food to donate to the needy. This is also a good time to bring the Chef Boyardee pastas for the children. The other (always fun) project is to bring teddy bears to the Luncheon to be donated to Friends of the Children at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. The teddy bears are distributed to sick and abused children within the health care system. Please keep these projects in mind and plan to attend.

KIDS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
The Public Relations Committee is still collecting food in support of the Alms House who provides bags for hungry children in the community. They are collecting
Chef Boyardee microwavable pastas (
Beefaroni, Spaghetti & Meat Balls, and Beef Ravioli
)
. The Alms House prepares and distributes an average of 400 bags each week and the need is great. If you don’t have time to pick up the pastas, cash donations can also be made. If you bring a check, please make it out to the Alms House. With the holidays approaching, the children will need our help even more, so please continue to support this project. Special thanks to Tim Delgado for his donations to the Alms House.

2020 ANNUAL DUES
You will be receiving your invoice in the amount of
$585
for your annual REALTOR® dues in early December. The local Association and the National Association of REALTORS® did not increase the dues amount for 2020, however, NC REALTORS® did vote to increase their portion of the dues by $20 per member for 2020. Therefore, the dues will be
$585
for the year. You are reminded of the bylaws regarding dues payment which states: “Section 3. Dues Payable. Membership dues for the calendar year are due on January 1, payable by January 31. Notice will be given on February 1 that the membership will be terminated on February 15 if payment is not received by that date.” You may pay your dues online through the NAR IMS payment system, with a personal check, money order, MasterCard, Visa or American Express. Please do not bring cash--we do not have change. PLEASE PAY ON TIME!!!!

RPAC BILLING
Several years ago, a line item was added to your annual dues invoice for a voluntary contribution to RPAC. If paying with a corporate/company check, please do
NOT
include the RPAC amount on the check since RPAC cannot accept corporate money. Your contribution will gladly be accepted when written on your
personal check
.
Thank you for your continued support of RPAC and the issues related to the real estate industry protected by these funds.
