Edit Case Note Function Fixed!

The HMIS Team is happy to announce that the issue with users' ability to edit and save case notes has now been resolved. We appreciate everyone's patience and willingness to work around this problem while we worked with our vendor to correct it. As always, if you experience further issues with this function, please submit a ticket to HMIS.Support@Havenforhope.org.

Chronic Homelessness Data Cleanup

Our Data Quality team will soon be sending their points of contact new items to review and correct. These items will include lists of clients over the past Fiscal Year 2024 that have incongruencies in the Chronic Homelessness classification. There is also a list of clients who have a reported Approximate Time Homeless of 3 years or more.

DQ points of contact should expect to receive emails with more details soon. Due to the holiday season, due dates for the cleanup will extend into early January.

Previous Clients Now Active

The Previous Clients function has once again been enabled for all HMIS Users. After several months of monitoring the system, we are confident the use of this feature will not have any negative effects on the speed or functionality of HMIS. We again thank all of our users for their patience while this function was offline.

HMIS Server Transition

Starting soon, our HMIS will transition from a self-hosted software environment, in which we store our community data on a machine we maintain, to a SaaS model, where we will be maintained by our vendor, CaseWorthy.

Reports Reminder!

When running any report in HMIS, it is important to make sure that report criteria is left at ALL Organizations, not just the organization you are representing. The Program(s) selector can still be used to narrow down the report to the specific projects you are looking for, but the Organization(s) selector should be left at "All."

Due to the way the system pulls the report, this is the only way to ensure that all clients are shown.

New HMIS Organizations

Since our last newsletter, the HMIS Team has onboarded two new Contributory Organizations. We are happy to welcome these newcomers and look forward to seeing the wonderful services they provide our community through the lens of HMIS.
