Soccer Uniform Changes - 2016

CHANGES ON THE WAY FOR 2016 SOCCER SEASON!

In the rule book on pages 41-43:

Specifically Rule 4 - Article I - section 1.a

“a. The home team shall wear solid white jerseys and solid white socks, and the visiting team shall wear dark jerseys and socks (dark is defined as any color which contrasts with white). Prior to and during the game, jerseys shall be tucked into the shorts, unless manufactured to be worn outside.”

Excerpt From: NFHS. “2015-16 NFHS Soccer Rules Book.” NFHS. iBooks.

Solid white is defined as white only. No colored piping, trim, stripes or decorative colored threading is allowed. The jersey may have the players name, school name, school logo, American flag, manufacturers label and the numbers front and back.

For example, Adidas contrasting colored stripes are not in compliance!
